START

The start area is on Kenrigg Road adjacent to the Kinloch Marina.
The start will be waved from 9am with runners first, followed by walkers.
The Quarter Marathon will start approximately 30 mins after the last Half Marathon wave.

SAFETY BREIFING

The safety briefing will be given at the start line... all entrants must be present.

TIMING The event is timed by TimeIt. All entrants must fasten the timing tag to their shoe lace. If you do not start or finish the event please ensure the timing tag is placed in the tag return box at registration or a $50 non-return fee will be charged.

THE COURSE AND FIRST AID

The courses will be marshalled and signed. All entrants must complete the same course.
The courses are unsuitable for wheelchair users.
There will be NO water available on the course - you must carry your own drink.
First Aid will be provided at the finish line. Aid will also be available on the course by roving medical team members.
No dogs on the course please! Supporters and spectators must not accompany runners and walkers at any stage during the event

FINISH

Finish is on the Kinloch Domain.
Water and replacement drink will be available in the finish area.
First Aid Station will be provided at the finish line by St John Ambulance.
All finishers receive a chocolate fish (Taupo brown trout) on exiting the finish area.
Timing tags will be removed by marshall before exiting the finish area. Please ensure your tag is removed and placed in the bin to be eligible for the major prize draws.

RECOVERY

Massages will be available in the Kinloch Community Hall.
Refreshments will also be available for purchase by the finish area.
