START

The start area is on Kenrigg Road - sign posted from Kinloch Domain.

Marathon start 7.00am

Half Marathon - 9.00am waved with runners first, followed by walkers. 

Quarter Marathon will start 30 mins after the last Half Marathon wave (approximately 9.45am)

SAFETY BREIFING

The safety briefing will be given at the start line... all entrants must be present.

TIMING The event is timed by TimeIt. All entrants must fasten the timing tag to their shoe lace or collect a cable tie from the Help Desk. If you do not start or finish the event please ensure the timing tag is placed in the tag return box at the Help Desk or a $50 non-return fee will be charged.   Provisional results will be on the website after the event.  Results will be finalised once all checks and queries have been dealt with. Contact the event administrator with any queries.   CERTIFICATES  Certificates will be available online for printing once results have been finalised.  To view your certificate click on the results link then search your name or number.  Click on the certificate link on the right. A pdf will open, scroll down to view the data.  The certificate can only be printed, not saved.   We are having technical difficulties with the online certificates, in that the data (in some cases) is not showing. The problem appears to be with Google Chrome using it's own pdf viewer but as this is happening only for some people it is proving more difficult to resolve.   An email will be sent to all finishers once this is sorted.

THE COURSE AND FIRST AID

The courses will be marshalled and signed. All entrants must complete the same course.
The courses are unsuitable for wheelchair users.
There will be NO water available on the course - you must carry your own drink.
First Aid will be provided at the finish line. Aid will also be available on the course by roving medical team members.
No dogs on the course please! Supporters and spectators must not accompany runners and walkers at any stage during the event

FINISH

Finish is on the Kinloch Domain.
Water and replacement drink will be available in the finish area.
First Aid Station will be provided at the finish line by St John Ambulance.
All finishers receive a chocolate fish (Taupo brown trout) on exiting the finish area.
Timing tags will be removed by marshall before exiting the finish area. Please ensure your tag is removed and placed in the bin to be eligible for the major prize draws.

RECOVERY

Massages will be available in the Kinloch Community Hall.
Refreshments are available for purchase by the finish area.

 

PRIZEGIVING

Prizegiving will be at 1.30pm on the Kinloch Doamin outside the hall (rain or shine)

 

Major spot prizes will be drawn at random from finishers timing tags collected in the finish arena.

You must be present with ID to claim a major spot prize.

 

Only first male and female to finish will be acknowledged.  No age group or walker placings are acknowledged or awarded.
